About the award

The LUX Audience Award is presented every year by the European Parliament and the European Film Academy, in partnership with the European Commission and Europa Cinemas. The award celebrates European cinema and it aims to engage and debate with the larger European public on important societal subjects reflecting our common European values such as democracy, rule of law, pluralism and freedom of expression.
Where to watch the nominated films
The European Parliament organises free screenings in all European Union countries. In addition, you can watch the film(s) by attending a commercial screening in a cinema near you.
Thanks to the LUX Audience Award project, all five nominated films are subtitled in the 24 official languages of the EU.
